Financial Aid FAQs

Who may apply for financial aid?

Both incoming and current St. Hubert families are welcome to apply for financial aid. Current families must reapply each year, as financial aid awards are made annually.

FACTS applications for the 2027–2028 school year open on October 1, 2026.

Will applying for financial aid affect my student's acceptance to St. Hubert?

No. Admission decisions are based solely on a student's qualifications and are made without regard to a family's financial situation.

Is financial aid the same as a merit scholarship?

No. Financial aid and merit scholarships are two separate programs.

Merit scholarships are awarded based on specific achievements and require a separate application. Students who receive a merit scholarship are still encouraged to apply for financial aid if additional assistance is needed.

Is there a sibling discount?

Yes. Families with more than two students enrolled in Archdiocesan high schools at the same time may qualify for a multi-student tuition discount.

How are financial aid decisions made?

Families submit an online application through FACTS, along with their required 2025 tax documentation. FACTS reviews the financial information and provides a recommended award amount to St. Hubert's Financial Aid Committee.

The Financial Aid Committee then carefully reviews the FACTS recommendation, along with any additional information provided by the family, before making a final award decision.

What are the financial aid deadlines, and when will families be notified?

Incoming Freshmen (Class of 2031)

  • Application deadline: December 31, 2026
  • All required 2025 tax documentation must be submitted before an application can be reviewed.
  • Families with completed applications submitted by December 31, 2026, can expect a financial aid decision by January 15, 2027.

Current St. Hubert Families

  • Applications submitted through FACTS by December 31, 2026, are eligible for a $50 registration fee credit.
  • All required 2025 tax documentation must be submitted before an application can be reviewed.
  • Financial aid award notifications will be sent by April 2027.

Is my financial aid award automatically renewed each year?

No. Financial aid is awarded on a yearly basis, and families must submit a new FACTS application each year to be considered.

While awards are reviewed annually, St. Hubert strives to maintain consistent award amounts whenever possible, based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of financial aid funds.
