Eighth grade girls interested in the music program at St. Hubert are invited to apply for the Vocal and Instrumental Scholarships which each award $1,000 per year to the scholarship recipient. Each student will audition for the scholarship.

Audition requirements are as follows: 

𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥:
Optional: Prepare 1 major scale of your choice. For example, the Bb scale, D scale... etc. 

Perform a piece of your choosing. Please bring an extra copy for the judges to follow. If you need someone to copy it for you, please let admissions know. 

𝐕𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥:
If you are able to sing a scale (Do re mi... etc.), that would be preferred.

Perform a song of your choosing. Please avoid performing pop pieces. If you do not know of any classical repertoire, you may sing a hymn or the Star Spangled Banner. 

Auditions will be held on 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 and 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 from 𝟑 - 𝟔 𝐏𝐌. Once you select your preferred date, you will be scheduled for a 20 minute time slot in our Band Room. 

If you would prefer to submit a video audition, please state the following: your name, current school, scale (optional), and a piece of your choosing. Video submissions will be due on 
𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 by 𝟓𝐏𝐌. Submissions can be sent directly to our Orchestra and Music Director, Danielle Graving, at [email protected]
