Saint Hubert High School Clubs & Activities (2026–2027)

Extracurricular activities at Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls play a vital role in building community, fostering leadership, developing talents, and enhancing academic growth. Below is the official list and description of student clubs and activities offered for the 2026–2027 school year:
 
Notes:
 
  • Clubs will plan at least (minimum) 4 events a year

■ There will be 1 - 2 events per semester
 
  • Clubs will hold at least (minimum) 7 - 8 meetings a year

■ There will be 3 meetings in the fall; and 4 meetings in the spring
 
  • Clubs will participate in at least 1 service activity
 

Academic

  • Mathletes:
Offers students the opportunity to challenge their advanced mathematical and problem-solving skills through competitive interscholastic meets. Seniors and juniors who like math and who attain above-average marks in the subject are eligible. From November through April, members compete once a month at various schools throughout the archdiocese. Practice sessions are held weekly after school. Freshmen and sophomores compete in an in-school mathematics league known as JV Mathletes.
 
 
  • National Honor Society:
Recognizes upperclassmen who excel in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Members coordinate peer tutoring and community service initiatives. Juniors and seniors are selected on their academic accomplishments and their proven leadership, character, and service qualities. Members provide tutorial services for classmates, assist the faculty, and sponsor the annual Celebration of Service held in the Spring.
 

  • Robotics:
Introduces students to engineering, programming, and mechanical design through hands-on building and competitive STEM challenges. Any student interested in learning how to build robots based upon engineering technology is invited to join. This team meets regularly and participates in a number of competitions each year. It frequently coordinates its efforts with the Father Judge Robotic Team.  
 
 

Business

  • FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America):
Prepares students for careers in business and entrepreneurship through leadership development, business skill competitions, and networking opportunities.
 
 

Health

  • HOSA (Future Health Professionals):
Connects students interested in medicine and healthcare fields with industry insights, practical skill-building, and health career competitions.
 
 

Ministry

  • Ministry Club:
Fosters spiritual growth and faith development by planning school liturgies, retreat experiences, prayer gatherings, and campus ministry events.
 
 
  • Stage Crew:
Provides behind-the-scenes assistance for campus ministry events, liturgies, and spiritual assemblies held in the auditorium.
 
 

Publications

  • Calling Echo (Print Yearbook):
Student journalists, writers, and photographers collaborate to design, document, and produce the school's annual printed yearbook. All students are welcome to join the yearbook staff. Working on this annual publication gives students the opportunity to create a photographic and written history of the school year. Many skills, such as writing, typing, proofreading, and photography are needed. The cost of the yearbook is included the student activity fee.  
 
 
  • Echoings (Literary/Art Annual):
Showcases creative student expression by publishing original creative writing, poetry, photography, and fine art pieces annually. The desire to be a contributing member is the only criteria for acceptance to the Echoings staff. Talents of both literary and technical minds are needed to complete the writing, photography, art, proofreading and lay-outs to continue our award winning publication. During November, December and January, the staff meets daily after school; at other times, as often as is necessary. The cost of the literary magazine is included in the school fee.
 
 

Service

  • Anti-Defamation League / No Place for Hate (ADL):
Leads school-wide initiatives that promote inclusion, equity, respect, and a positive school culture free of bias and bullying.
 
 
  • Athletes Helping Athletes (AHA):
Pairs student-athletes with special needs athletes from the local community to build friendships through inclusive sports and event hosting. Providing awareness and community support for the special needs athlete through inclusion in local school athletic functions by serving as Honorary Team Captains at the home games for our participating teams. Offering other extra-curricular events and activities that provide opportunities for athletes of all abilities and coaches to come together while sharing athletic experiences and a love for sport while developing compassion and mutual respect AND HAVING SOME FUN!
 
 
  • Bambie Ambassadors (BA):
Selected student representatives who host prospective families, lead school tours, and represent Saint Hubert at official school and alumni functions. The school ambassadors are the external representatives of the school. Nominated by faculty, the girls serve at various events inside and outside of school.
 
 
  • Bambies United (BU):
Celebrates diverse backgrounds and traditions, promoting cultural exchange, unity, and open dialogue across the student body. The club is welcome to anyone who would like to learn about different cultures and ethnicities. It's about respecting & accepting our differences by exploring and celebrating the rich culture of each individual.
 
 
  • Black Student Union (BSU):
Provides a supportive environment to explore Black culture and heritage, celebrate accomplishments, and engage in meaningful community discussion. The BSU was established at St. Hubert in 2021 to bring cultural awareness and positive racial relationships by promoting a mutual respect for all cultures. BSU is open to all students, regardless of racial or cultural idenity. The primary goal of BSU is to provide a setting for students who are interested in learning about African American culture, contributions, history and traditions to meet to discuss and explore the black experience.
 
 
  • Community Service Corps (CSC):
Directs school-wide charitable efforts, including food drives, holiday outreach, seasonal collections, and local volunteer projects.
 
 
  • Students Against Destructive Decisions (S.A.D.D.):
Educates peers on safety, wellness, and positive decision-making, empowering students to avoid risky behaviors. Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) is a nation organization that works to empower students to make decisions that benefit them now and in their furutres. At. St. Hubert, students in the organization work to promote peace, positivity, and in good decision making at social functions.
 
 
  • Women Helping Women:
Empowers young women through supportive mentorship, community engagement, and service projects focused on women's needs.
 
 

Student Government

  • Student Council / Student Government:
Serves as the official voice of the student body, coordinating school spirit events, advocating for student needs, and fostering school pride. Elected by the student body, members of student council are the official representatives of the student body and the liaisons between the administration and the students.
 
 

Technology

  • Social Media Club:
Combines digital media design and communication strategy to create engage-worthy content that highlights Saint Hubert life across official platforms.
 
 

The Arts

  • Chorus:
Develops vocal technique, harmony, and musical expression through choral instruction and live public concert performances. Any student who enjoys singing and who is eager to learn the proper use of her voice may join. Members are required to attend practice sessions after school during the week. The Chorus performs in the Christmas Show, Spring Concert, and liturgies, as well as at other school and community functions. Chorus is considered an extracurricular activity. It can also be taken for credit.
 
 
  • Dance:
Allows students to practice various dance disciplines and movement techniques, showcasing performance talent at school showcases.
 
 
  • Drama Club:
Explores acting techniques, stagecraft, and performance art, helping students build confidence through theatrical production.
 
 
  • Musical Theatre:
Combines acting, singing, and choreography in preparing for mainstage musical productions throughout the school year.
 
 
  • Orchestra:
Offers ensemble instrumental practice and performance opportunities for students playing string, woodwind, brass, or percussion instruments. Any student who wishes to learn an orchestral instrument and develop her musical ability may join the orchestra and instrumental ensembles. Members perform as a group and develop those skills necessary for ensemble performances. Members are required to participate in all public performances and to attend all scheduled rehearsals. Prior to a public performance, it is often necessary to have three extra rehearsals. Orchestra members receive weekly instrument lessons by professional musicians. The orchestra performs in the Christmas Show, Spring Concert, Graduation and many other school functions. 
 
  • Photography Club:
Focuses on framing, lighting, camera technicals, and digital photo editing to capture visually striking imagery.
 
 
  • Sewing Club:
Teaches practical garment construction, pattern drafting, alteration techniques, and textile arts.
 
 
  • Stage Crew:
Operates theatrical lighting, sound design, set construction, and backstage management during arts performances and assemblies. Those interested in the technical aspects of drama, such as lighting, sound, or scenery, may join. This group supplies various technical assistance to anyone using the auditorium for drama performances or special assemblies.  The stage crew is part of both the fall musical and spring drama.  They are expected to attend rehearsals and performances. The crew meets on an as-needed basis.
 
 
Participation in extracurricular clubs and activities requires students to maintain good academic and disciplinary standing in accordance with the 2026–2027 Student-Parent Handbook.
