School Closing and Delays

In the event of severe weather or emergency conditions, Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls works closely with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to determine necessary schedule adjustments, delays, or full-day closures.

 

Notification Methods

Because weather conditions can change rapidly, official closing or delay decisions may be made and communicated overnight or early in the morning. Announcements will be shared through the following official channels:

 

  • Direct Mass Notifications: Automated phone calls, text messages, and email notifications sent directly to the contact information registered in your school profile.

 

  • School Website & Social Media: Official updates posted promptly on the main homepage at www.huberts.org and on Saint Hubert's official social media channels.

 

  • Local Media Outlets: Broadcast notifications on local Philadelphia television news stations (KYW, Action News, NBC10, FOX29) and through the Archdiocese of Philadelphia communication network.

 

Two-Hour Delay Guidelines

In the event of a 2-Hour Delay:

 

  • Morning Bell: The first bell will ring at 9:45 AM.

 

  • Building Opening: For student safety and convenience, the school building will open early at 7:00 AM. All main entrances will be accessible.

 

  • Early Arrivals: Any student arriving at school prior to the start of the modified schedule must report directly to the Cafeteria upon arrival.

 

Transportation Note

Because students travel to Saint Hubert from various school districts, please follow your local public school district’s transportation schedules regarding morning busing during weather delays or closures.
