HEALTHCARE CAREERS IN 1-2-3

A Growing Pathway from Classroom to Certification to Career

Saint Hubert is creating meaningful healthcare pathways that allow students to earn
college credit, gain hands-on experience, achieve professional certification, and
prepare for in-demand careers.

BUILDING THE PATHWAY

1. PILOT YEAR
Laying a Strong Foundation
Students began taking college-level healthcare courses from Manor College and Holy Family University directly at Saint Hubert.
Courses were taught by college professors, giving students early exposure to higher education and healthcare career opportunities.

2. PRESENT PROGRAM
From Coursework to Certification
In partnership with Holy Family University, Saint Hubert launched its CNA certification program for an inaugural cohort of 10
students. Students completed their coursework and clinical preparation in Saint Hubert’s newly renovated simulation lab.
Major Achievement
10 seniors completed their CNA coursework and sat for the Pennsylvania State Exam.

3. LOOKING AHEAD
Real-World Results and New Career Pathways
Saint Hubert is building direct pathways from the classroom into the workforce. We have expanded the CNA program from 10
students to 16 students!
With more than 700 open CNA positions in the region, students can pursue meaningful, well-paying work while continuing their
education and building long-term careers in healthcare.

1. EXPANDING OPPORTUNITIES

HOSA – Future Health Professionals
Students develop leadership skills, explore healthcare careers, and connect with peers who share their professional interests.

Women in Healthcare Day
Sponsored by Jefferson, this event introduces students to women working across a variety of healthcare fields.
