The World Language Department offers Spanish, French, and Italian. In these times of international communication, commerce and diplomacy, the knowledge of a second language is an invaluable asset to any career and will enhance the student’s chances of success in every sphere. Minimum college requirements at most area colleges stipulate two years of one modern language. Many colleges request that students consider three or four years of one language rather than two years of two languages.
