Prayer of Pope Francis during the coronavirus crisis

O Mary,
you always shine on our path
as a sign of salvation and of hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick,
who at the cross took part in Jesus's pain, keeping your faith firm.
You, Salvation of the Roman People,
know what we need,
and we are sure you will provide
so that, as in Cana of Galilee,
we may return to joy and to feasting
after this time of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love,
to conform to the will of the Father
and to do as we are told by Jesus,
who has taken upon himself our sufferings
and carried our sorrows
to lead us, through the cross,
to the joy of the resurrection. Amen.
Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God.

Do not disdain the entreaties of we who are in trial,
but deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.

Any strong, healthy 16-49 year olds looking to step up in the face of a pandemic?
The largest food pantry in Montgomery County, Martha's Choice (run by our Catholic Social Services) saw a 100% increase in client volume yesterday. We are in need of strong, healthy volunteers to help serve those in need during this time. Martha's Choice has been able to serve people from the parking lot, maintain social distancing/stringent sanitizing and limit the number of people present by adjusting service protocols for the safety of all involved. They need volunteers in 3-4 hour increments or more during these times: 8 am-4 pm on Monday; 9 am-7:30 pm on Wed; 8 am-7:30 pm on Thurs; 9 am-4 pm on Fri
If you are able to help with this, please contact Patrick Walsh at Catholic Social Services Martha's Choice Marketplace:
