Classroom Procedures
1. You are required to have a notebook which must be brought to class every day.
2. You are required to keep a folder for any handouts that are given.
3. You are expected to be on time for class everyday and ready to work.
4. You are responsible for getting any notes that you may have missed due to absence.
5. Major tests will always be announced at least three days in advance.
6. Vocabulary quizzes will be announced at least three days in advance.
Other quizzes may or may not be announced.
7. Homework that is assigned while you are absent must be made up as soon as possible. All assignments, tests, etc. for the week can be viewed on my webpage on the school's website. Homework will comprise a major grade every quarter. Freshmen classes only will be given three homework coupons which will allow you to submit homework that is late without penalty. They MAY NOT be used for writing assignments or long term assignments. Any unused coupons will be turned in at the end of the quarter for extra homework points.
8. Any quiz or test missed due to absence must be made up as soon as possible at a time mutually agreed upon by the teacher and student. Makeups may be taken BEFORE school, AFTER school, or during a regularly scheduled study period.
