A. Physical fitness assessment
- The sophomore run
- Crunches, Shuttle run, Flex arm hang, Broad jump
B. Flag football
- Lead up activities
- Rules
- Skill development
- Inter-class competitions
C. Track
- High Jump
- Hurdles
- Shot Put
- Long jump
- Jump rope with weaghted ropes
- Use of hand weights
D. Aerobics
- Various videos are used to expose students to different types of
aerobic activities.
- Sweatin to the Oldies, Step aerobics, kick-n-jab, yoga. just to name a few.
E. Basketball
- Lead up activities
- Rules
- Skill development
- 3-on-3 competitions within each class.
F. Gymnastics
- Students begin with very basic skills using"spotters" for all equipment.
Many of the students will progress to more difficult skills by
the completion of the unit.

- Rings, ropes, balance beam, uneven bars, tumbling mats,
vaulting horse
G. Volleyball
